When I tried to pull the fuse it came out in pieces but the slot was ok so I robbed a 15 amp fuse from slot 56 (heated mirrors) as a temporary fix. That was six months ago and the 15 amp fuse is holding up just fine. WebOct 14, 2024 · Fuse 27 is a low profile min-fuse meaning the plastic is between the 2 pins and will melt because the fuse box gets very hot. Replace it with a 20 amp regular mini-fuse where the plastic is above the hole and stays cooler - it fits. This is easier than the fuse relocation kit. 5 people found this helpful.
